- Renton Pern - joe
- A scholar and a gentleman.
A fine figure of a man with a growing reputation as a natural scientist, recently returned home from univerity to conduct privette reserach in his all but abondoned ancestral home, stately Pern manor.
- Delfra - Steve
- Long time servant of the Pern family, currently serving as their groundskeeper and general hand.
- Mason Storm - Mick
- A handsome and well travelled gentleman adventurer who spent some time at the temple studying and meditating. He now plans to carry The Word tothe far corners of the empire.
- Darius Rand - John
- Darius is a somewhat reluctant noble, though he likes being a noble more than he will generally admit. He has a naturally curious and somewhat rebellious nature, and little patience.
- Mac - Keith
- A journeyman tinker and locksmith who catered to the humble merchants and those of questionable endeavors. He was orphaned at a young age when his father earned the ire of a petty aristocrat.
- Sergeant Ludo - Tim
- As member of the local militia Ludo is know for taking care of business. When he tells someone what to do, he expects that it will happen, or or they will face the consequences.
