Starting a Character

Characters begin with 150 points for Characteristics. Half of those points will be used for Racial Templates.

Characters begin with 250 points for Powers, Talents, Perks and Skills. Some points will be used for Racial Templates.

Characters must have 175 points in Disadvantages.

Characters should have a Reputation for something famous and possibly heroic. The characters don't need to be system wide famous but known enough

Characters will need to have some sort of archtype (pilot, doctor, etc). Some points will be used for Archtype Templates. There should be at least one Archtype Skill pacakage and/or 30 points spent on skills for an archtype.

Magic is real.

All powers, disadvantages, and character concepts are subject to GM approval.

House rules

Weapons and gear are bought with CP, however, the supplies for such need to be purchased with Credits.

All weapons, armor, vehicles, computers, etc must have the "Real" disadvantage (-1/4). i.e. Real Weapon, Real Armor, etc.

The Base & Vehicle Perk gets you 10 AP for 1 CP instead of the usual 5 for 1.

Vehicles must have Megamovement +1/4 (1/4 Impulse) to exit a planets atmosphere.

Recovery after being stunned is multiples of Recovery or 10 whichever is greater (so normally -1 to -10 allows recovery every phase. If a character has a REC of 14, his is -1 to -14. A REC of 3 still gets -1 to -10)

All players and some villains will be 'reluctant to kill' You can buy the disadvantage if you want.

Guidelines

Dex should be in the 15-35 range. OCV/DCV should be 5 to 12.

Speed should be in the 3-8 range.

Attacks should be 50-75 active points.

Defenses should be 15-30, resistant should be 5-10
