A brief description of the characters and their motives (as described by the players):
- Mordecai Tadescu - Steve
- According to the official databanks, Mordecai died during a routine procedure at a local medical center. He suffered a fatal allergic reaction to the anesthetic. According to less official sources, he is still alive and is the foremost hacker in the solar system. Others claime he is some kind of mechanical genius. Mordecai offers no opinion on either matter, though he is certain his skills exceed yours.
While he can function in the real world, he hates face-to-face meetings because, as he says, "Meatspace never complies with standards, no matter how hard you try."
- Maloan - Joe
- Maloan first came to the public attension during his escape from the illegal Polaris project and its subsequent public exsposure.
His past before he came stumbleing down the holding cell hallway screaming and clenching his head, while dressed only in a patient's gown and trailing various tubing and wireing is unknown due to the fire which gutted the facility shortly after he freed the remaining prisoners and proceeded to shoot his way out.
The Ent-Tel corperation firmly denies responcibility for the Polaris progect, claiming that the project was opened secretly by the former Assistant Chairman of the Board Jeck Hanso who had recently commited suicide by cerebral torching.
It is rumored that Malone has since been carring on a series of attacks on Ent-Tel facilities associated with the Polaris progect for reasons unknown.
