Here's the list of things to remember:
- There is a group known as the Crusaders. This group is dedicated to protecting people from the fiends. They maintain enclaves in most of the larger communities. The crusaders are separate from the Temples. While the priests regard their efforts as quixotic, they do not discourage them.

- The normal riding and draft animal in most of Spira is a Chocobo. These large flightless birds are swift and strong. They have been ridden into battle, pulled carts, and used to power mills.

- The AlBhed are a group of people that are on the fringes of society in Spira. They are wanderers, and are known for dabbling in forbidden practices.

- Many fiends have a strong affiliation with an element, and a corresponding weakness for another element.

- Fiends do have their uses. Some fiends have parts that are useful in alchemy and the creation of magic items.
