RPG Other Games Calendar Main Journal Spira
Starting a Character
- Abilities are generated using 4d6, discarding the lowest.
- Races are limited to Dwarf, Elf, Halfling, Human, & Troll (half-orc).
- Any class is permitted.
- Prestige Classes are to be cleared through the GM. I hope to avoid the more broken ones.
- Characters start with maximum gold for their class.
- The starting level is second. Why? It makes it easier to justify a back story.
- Each character should know some of the other characters. A always stops at the Inn that is owned by B's brother, etc.
- Play will begin in Besaid, a small town that is a frequent stop for travelers along the Moonflow River.
- The Shujenga class would be a viable option for a priest of Yevon. A cleric can select from the law, protection, inquisition, or purification domains.
- If using something not from the Players Handbook please make note of the book and page. I reserve the right to disallow anything I think is unbalanced and will pay particular attention to items that have proven so in other games.
- Players may buy skills normally usable "untrained" for 1 pt (ignore class restrictions for your class). These skills follow the normal non-class skill limits and your maximum rank is half your level (round up).
- Favored Enemies:
- Fiend (Plant)
- Fiend (Bestial)
- Fiend (Humanoid)
- Fiend (Elemental)
- Fiend (Undead)
