A brief description of the characters and their motives (as described by the players):
- Pippin the Bold - Steve
- Pippin is a bright and cheerful conjurer. He is looking forward to seeing new places as part of the exodus. He's heard stories his whole life about elves and their magic and can't wait to meet some. He always puts the best face on things and never gives up on being cheerful and happy.
- Ytterby - joe
- A seasoned mercenary sargent with a touch of elven blood who decided marrying a widowed woman with her own land beat fighting for a liveing, several years and children later he is no longer so sure.
- Byron the Black - Tom
- While no priest every worships a single Deity, Byron seems to favor Morrigan over the rest. His armor is black as a raven with an raven etched into the breast plate. Byron does not agree with this new sect of priest that have the Kings ear and called for battle against them but decided to go with the Earl and protect the people in the new and strange land they were sailing for.
- Simon Drake - Mick
- Simon was a youthful ward of one of the templesand used for gathering information as few paid any attention to him. Now his skills at slipping in and out of tight spots has brought him to the notice of the Captain of the Earl's guard
- Twrch - John
- A hardy outdoorsman. Practical and no nonsense, likes to get things done quickly.
