Crossroads

Starting a Character

Starting a Character.

  1. This campaign will be based upon the Pathfinder rules. Characters can be generated using the Core Rulebook.
  2. Any race detailed in the core rulebook can be chosen. Humans are the most numerous race within the city. Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Half-Elves, Half-Orcs, and Halflings are all represented to some extent. And all of these are common in neighboring lands.
  3. Abilities can be generated using 4d6 six times, discarding the lowest die each time.
  4. Maximum starting Gold
  5. Maximum starting Hit Points

Reminders

  1. At first level you have to designate a favored class. Each level taken in a favored class you get an extra hit point or skill point.
  2. You get a +3 bonus on all class skills you put a rank into. And if you multi-class, the class skills of the new class are added to your list of class skills.

Miscellaneous

  1. If your character is going to have a critter (familiar, companion, etc.) please bear in mind the party may encounter many different climates. An alligator may sound like a cool pet but it wouldn't fair well in the snow, for example.
  2. If you want to purchase/commission a magic item you need to go through me. If you do find someone able to make something, it doesn't mean they will be willing. Or there may be other issues.
  3. Characters can start with an exceptional item for 1/3 cost if they have sufficient ranks in the appropriate craft to make it if they take 10 on a skil check.
