A brief description of the characters and their motives (as described by the players):
- Paldo - Steve
- Paldo comes from the ruined village of Valskar. He is clearly an outdoorsman and is short, even for a halfling.
- Thorn - Mick
- Thorn comes from the ruined village of Valskar. He is clearly an outdoorsman and is of average height for a halfling
- Osoth Rhyth - Tom
- Osoth is from the clan Rhyth of the Ryari tribe in The Battlelands. Tired of war with the various other tribes and kingdoms in The Battlelands Osoth has decided to travel to the ancient temples to seek wisdom and peace. Osoth is human with tribal markings covering his arms and torso. He carries a greatsword and very little else outside of a worn miss-mash of leather. He is rather uncomfortable in large cities and groups of people.
- Shooter - Joe
- A husky half elf with long, blonde, and receding hair and a leatherman stach. Dresses in green homespun and much patched leather armor with a variety of metal rings stitched on. Carries a dwarven warhammer named Gobstopper as his weapon of choice when not able to use his Ash longbow Vera.
