No one on the team actually knows about it yet. This all happened around 2:30am and by the time Bravado woke up, dealt with the police and found the car with the GSP map it was almost 8am or so. When he was called in for support on the armored car he just said he was in the middle of something and couldn't respond.

ok, so what about the girl?

Bryan McCormick was out of town on business when this happened. But it was a Frontline Security vehicle.

armored car? A.I.M.?

Actually, Bravado has yet to save the girl. We left off just as he was pulling up to the location he believed her to be. As for the cargo, we are also picking up right where we left off. So if you want to know what the cargo was, then you'll find out. Also, it was A.I.M that attacked the armored car, not Viper.

I didn't think it was a big huge secret base, but I was just curious what was in it. They layout, etc. Small training room, etc...I know it's more a community place..

It would probally be picked out and remodled to be very non secure, if some bad guys show up looking for hostages, we want people to be able to get out quickly from any room.

I don't really think it has anything special like that. It wasn't intended to be a secret base - I thought we had Wildcat's mansion for that stuff.
I'd guess it has a normal computer network (office automation, a connection to the internet, probably a website hosted with a hosting service). It probably has external cameras on the parking lot, good lighting, and a decent security system on the doors and windows (frontline could install it). There might be a basketball court outside.
I alsways thought of it as more like the "Y" than any kind of superhero base.

I'd do it, but I'm dead.

Can someone please submit a design for the Outreach Center? I'm assuming that everyone paid at least 1 point each towards it. Wildcat matched that. When the base was built either Bravado or El Train had the most CP's at about 260 Points. So the base can have 260 points put into it. Right now it has 60 points available to spend on it. You can get up to 30 points in disadvantages, this will allow for a 90 point base. Need to know what you guys have there. You already have living quarters so remember to put that in the design, along with the "community rooms" on the main floor. Computers? Security? Defenses? Doctor Mid-Nite has also opened a free clinic as part of the community rooms. He also has a high tech medical facility in the basement of the building. The building will have a second floor and a basement equal in size to what you spend. Mid-Nite will be putting in points for his clinic. I'm designing that right now. You'll also need to figure out how big the place is..right now it's only the default size of 8 hexes (2x4) so it's only 13'x26' with 2 Body.

First we try to find out who THEY are. After that we take the battleto them on grouns of our choosing, that way we do not edanger innocent people in the chaos that will certainly follow. That is the difference between being a hero and a vigilante. usually the vigilante's don;t care of others get hurt, and governments are usually willing to accept a certain amount of collateral damage. That just a nice way of saying they will let some people die to get what they want, but I don't have to like it....and I don't.

That at least gives me hope. Weren't the All Stars just well-trained people in suits too? Maybe us oddballs have an edge.
I didn't think about all the regular people that got hurt. They probably had familes. Kids and parents that loved and wanted them and now they are gone. That's just not right. That kind of suffering has to stop, here in Star City and throughout the world.
I don't know if I'm ready, but I AM ready to find out.
What do we do next?

Welcome to being a hero kid. We go up against beings, things, whatever that will most likely kill us but we do it because we have to. Because if we don't then innocent people get hurt or die. And unlike most of you, all of us here are just normal people. None of us have special powers but we fight. And we're going to fight now, like we always have because giving them what they want ain't gonna happen. I've got no issue with dying to keep it away from them. So now you gotta ask yourself kid, you got the brass to do what is necessary when the time comes? Do any of you? Because they're going to come at us from all angles and hard. We'll understand if you want to say no. You're right, you're probably not ready for this but it's happening and you need to make a choice now.

So if they could kill 3 members of the All Star Squad and Green Arrow, how are we supposed to stand against them? I'm not a coward, but I don't want to die. I've barely started to live.

No one has any questions based off the prelude?

Heroes Killed/MIA: Major Force, Lt. M. Task, Cpl. Mercury, Conner Hawke aka Green Arrow II are confirmed while El Train and the thirty citizens are listed MIA (popular census is they are dead)

You guys can make comments/questions about the epilogue/prelude storyline (like bounding boy just did) we can hash them out here or quickly the next game. It is basically picking up from there...there maybe a few things that happen...but not much.

On Jul 11, 2007 at 05:13 pm Bounding Boy asked :
Wait, did she just say El Train was dead? and all those people? I thought you (looking at Bravado) said he was just teleported away...

What two weeks?

On Jul 4, 2007 at 03:40 pm Tom said :
Just what you are doing for those two weeks. You can fight crime, investigate open items from past sessions, train, etc. You could even introduce villains, rivals, etc.
