But since Cooter wasn't there....but it might work out for the better since the next adventure is actually going to start within hours of your finishing the search of the tower. So basically, you killed the Mind Flayers, healed up, Laris goes out to scout the Vanuth while the rest of you explored the the towers more throughly. Laris shows up hours later out of breath telling you they are coming. You go to the tower around 10am, finished with the adventure at 2pm, finished exploring the tower by 5pm and thats when LAris shows back up with the Vanuth on his tail.

Luthor has informed his brother of the situation but as I said the road/pass through the southern edge of the Black Forest is basically non-travelable due to the season, not to mention is a rough road to begin with. There has been no mention of taking up arms against anyone, yet. Luthor is trying to deal with this in a diplomatic effort without rallying people to Valsook's side at the same time. At this time there's politcal games being played, people with power and money are making moves that make sure they get what they want. Let me put it to you this way, you are not being asked to get involved (at this point) if you want to that's fine but I have a few player submitted sub-plots that I've been wanting to get into and I've manage to work everything together so the options will be there. Right now there's tension and sides are being taken, will there be a civil war? I don't know I haven't determined that yet. But there's no crunch on the time line right now for it to happen, I'm just keeping everyone aprised of what's happening in Westvale. I want to work with some of these submitted sub-plots for a while.
